L61 to Lea swap

What would it take to make an Lea function in an 07 cobalt. The plan is to pickup a complete terrain/ equinox that's jumped time pull the engine, harness, computer, fuse box. Comparing the girlfriends terrain to my cobalt it looks like the biggest physical objective is maybe pinning a plug for the bcm to communicate with the new engine bay fuse box no big deal spend some time with both vehicles wiring schematics. Big question is the anti theft crap is that the bcm or pcm? Going to be completely stock build minus the balance shaft will be evicted, zzp guide, zzp upper guide bolt, and the car already has a giant long tube header and 2.5 exhaust( the 2.2 is obnoxiously loud quite possibly the loudest thing I've heard). Going to retain the f23 5 speed as well, Not looking for big power just something unique and fun to drive. And to play with the direct injection.

Edited**** my original answer was about putting the 2.4 LE5 in the L61 cobalt.

You might be the first one to attempt it. I don’t know what ECU the equinox has, or if that will be compatible with the cobalt electronics. You may have to modify your fuel delivery to match up with LEA direct injection setup, which I would think is the same as the LNF cobalts.
