Meth level indicator Idea
Meth level indicator Idea
just thinking out loud here.....
but how about drilling 2 tiny holes in the lower area of your meth tank....
putting 2 leads in there, silcon them up...
create a circuit leading to an LED on your dash....
The conductivity when meth is present should create a circuit to light the LED.....
then when it goes out, you know your running low.
its just a ghetto version of a regular fluid level indicator.....but would be far cheaper.
can anyone see any flaws in my thinking? suggestions? contributions?
thanks for lookin.

no ****, really?
50/50 meth/water isnt flammable enough.
not to mention the leads would actually have to have enough power to create a spark.
which is very unlikely.
its a basic continuity tester folks.....not a spark plug in a meth tank

aem has an indicator, along with a method of retarding timing when it runs out in case you'r enot paying attention. these work on our supras, i'm sure there's a way to hook them up to the 'balt
now thats a good suggestion. im gonna dig further into that one.
I think if the current was very low and only enough to light an LED it shouldnt though.
yeah im aware there are lots of specific built sensors.
snow has one too.
but basically i like the idea of doing it myself for $5, instead of $50

interesting.
that would do the trick i think.
im still gonna play with the continuity tester idea though.
im sure this could be done for pennies.
