looks good man...should haul some ass. The only I would want to change is the wastegae, everyone I know that used the deltagates always had trouble with spiking/leaking...I always used a Tial on my turbo cars and loved em. Can't wait to see it run!

and don't worry about spool time. I have a few different compressor and exhaust housings coming in next week so I can tailor it to my motor... plus... who the **** wants peak torque off the line anyway. I have a hard enough time hooking up with the setup I have now... and I have every traction mod available on my car at the moment........ and slicks
I keep telling you to get that 1 traction mod you don't have, then all the torque off the line will be cool.

This thread kicks ass, I really think Paul knows what hes doing. Would be real nice if they came out with forged diamon pistions in 8:1 or 8:5:1.

I'm gonna talk to another company about releasing a set hopefully.... I'm gonna end up getting a set of 8.5:1 pistons made for now since my boost plans have changed drastically

I'm almost postive that it is. Still need to check a few things. I have a spare motor available to me for like $50. I was thinking of building that up since it's cheaper for parts. I do think that the LSJ block is cast differently though and is a little stronger.

Yeah the LSJ block is cast inhouse at the German assy plant for the LSJ, but the only diff is casting technique, all of the dimensions and hardpoints are the same, so pretty much ecotec block can be built up the same way, and then substituted for the LSJ, I think there may be some ineterference issues in certain head/block combos though

For sure. I'm not 100% off the top of my head on what the 2.2 eco cylinder sleeves are rated for, but I have .pdf copies of all of GM's build books if you want em, they have teh info and part numbers/specs for pretty much everything needed.

The one major difference with the LSJ is the piston cooling jets in the bottom end. I know other ecos have the passages, just not the actual jet arms themselves, but I don't remember what all was required to get them up and running in them

Thats a word I have heard many times about my project.
Definition I have come to understand of the word "soon",
"maybe in your lifetime"
