I'd feel safer with it at 8191 myself!

So then you need some neutral balance shafts and a cam to put out the power up there.

If you had balance shafts, IMO you could go a big higher, but the stock PCM won't go above 8250 anyway (IIRC it's 8250). Those springs could probably handle a good bit more.

we have one over here on stock cams bumped up to 8k on stock cams and it wasnt a crazy difference on power gains but it doesnt fall off after 7k like some think

yea this is what i am doing...this is what sucks man we have some knowledgable people on this site but to have them all have a thread to beable to bullshit is hard...without people coming in and saying hey u think i should add cooling mods to my 2.6 with 60s? it gets annoying i mean i love to help but if were knee deep in a convo...dont come jumping off topic
