Pic Request: 5th Injector

Looking for some pictures of a 5th injector on a boosted setup. Specifically, the fuel lines involved and where it was mounted relative to the throttle body.

Also: Any ideas on preventing puddling in the manifold?

From what I've seen they put it just behind the TB in a spacer and it's set with a piggyback to inject fuel relative to boost pressure. THis of course is what Stillen does with the 350Z

Yeah... wait for a real tuning solution. Running fuel in the intake manifold just has bad idea written all over it.

he has tunning, hes got an ecotec cavalier. If your upset because you got the GM crap tune, go buy a stock PCM and use HPtuners to tune it for bigger injectors. A 5th injector is a bad idea. Its like putting a bandaid on a cut that needs stiches. Id almost guarantee a nice backfire from that gasoline then say buy bye to your 1,000 dollar supercharger.

Umm... just FYI... tuning for an Ecotec Cavalier is waaaaay different than tuning for a Base model Cobalt. Totally different ECU.

he wasnt asking about tuning, he was asking about placement of the injector and how to prevent puddling

Well the setup i HAD, theres a hat that goes over the TB that houses the 5th injector. Its setup so the air coming goes into a swirling effect and atomizes the air with the fuel. I had no problems with fuel puddling with that setup, but then again you have a SC. It wont work the same.

If your going to run extra injectors, run 4 extras, one in each runner. But i doubt thats possible with that intake manifold and the SC on top. Why would you consider a 5th injector, do you have issues with tuning?
