request: Open loop

can someone explain exactly the method to get into open loop to tune the MAF?

I kinda have the gist of it from the injector setup thread....
but i was under the impression that in open loop, you should have no fuel trims?

if so, my current setup is how its put in the injector thread, but my trims seem to be still active.

Any help appreciated

thanks guys

I can help, but I dunno if I should lol. Being the fastest LSJ in Alberta helping you makes my chances worse lol. j/k

Anyways, email me at blackss2005@hotmail.com and I'll email the OL tune to compare to and get your started.

You need to adjust the Open Loop tables by setting the ones the car runs in to "1" in the Gas (gear), Gas (P/N) and IVT Gain. Then max out the ECT vs. Startup ECT and the O2 Readyness ECT. Next to that set the LTFT table, set Min ECT to 493 and Max ECT to -40 and leave the boundaries alone. Diasable COT and DFCO.

That's all I can remember right now, just make sure when you're in OL it's commanding 14.7 except when in PE, then it will command what ever you have it set to.

Like I said I have a file to get you going if it's easier.
