what kinda power numbers would the complete head and valve/springs add to my setup? is it better to get this done when i have high mileage instead of now i have 25k.

maybe i didnt read but would valvetrain components be available also?

Basically what I'm looking for is something that makes better power and allows me to rev to the full ability of HP tuners which is 8192RPM pretty much the higher you rev these supercharged setups the more power they make, plus the sound of that kinda rpm must be F1 in nature and is something id love to be able to do

how does this hand port compare to a cnc porting of say an m2Race systems? i know M2 charges 1200 for a full port and polish..is 3 times the cost worth a cnc port and polish?

how do you think CNC porting gets prgrammed? It's from a hand port job that's measured and then input into a computer.

But comparing this head to a m2race head would be stupid. M2race is a full blow race head, pretty much all topend power. This head would be better suited for an everyday driver. Much more low end tq, but not near as much topend.

they will be more precise than hands can be and remove more material. You get what you pay for.
IMO for those who cant drop 1200 in head porting, this is a great alternative.
One of the best hand-port jobs ive seen

nice job, looks great.

just to answere a few questions, i made 30+ more hp than the next guy at the same boost levels in my slightly ported head... so with something like this i could see bigger gains...
and yes there is more to it than whats said but same type of car similar mods and same boost i made more power

Nice choice for upgrades Its a good thing we are doing LS head porting also....as our latest shop car is an LS1 Camaro....and the LS3 engine build we have going right now is pretty stout too

Thanks for all the kind comments everyone... we will be installing this head on an LSJ car this week and will be dyno testing as we go so we will keep you posted. For all you LNF cars....out customers car, "project scarab" which can be seen on our website...will be getting a head port job also this month so we will keep everyone posted with those results as well

I have talked about the LNF Sky.... i did post pics and a vid up of it but its burried at this point i believe... i'll have to repost it. It did make 409whp and 387 wtq on a stock head and springs with just a tune and gt35r swap.... he is going the ported head route from us as well with the 78lb springs and all. Should be a beast.... I'll be flowing some LSX head shortly for our project camaro so i'll post up some improved numbers from those as well.... just the common 317 heads for a turbo setup we are building for it.
