more build idea stuff.... http://www.performancecoatings.com/index2.html ....looking at the satin dark blue(ive seen on a sick scca supra) or the satin black for the new turbo mani. & exhaust side of my turbo. In the BENEFIT DATA section half way down the page r the results from thier test (which im sure r bias) give a general idea of coatings. I mainly want 2 do this for the drop in engine bay heat, well and some of the other benifits.

this has been my random build thought of the day

The turbo hangs aprox. 9" from the bottom of the flange(t3\t4 57trim) so it hangs down by the inter. shaft, but i dont think its as low as(looked but havent measured). But it also looks like even if it is down by the shaft that it hangs far enough away from the block 2 miss the shaft(meaning sits behind)......so thats the scoop hopefully i will have more soon

06blackg85ss have u thought about running the LS4 tb on your setup. I am planning on doing so but didnt know if there would be any bad side affects. I know its not needed 2 make the power i want but, i already have one and it never hurts 2 go with a little bigger tb....imo
I did, but didn't like the way the car drove, so it's off.... don't need it anyway.

let me know how that mani fits man, I want to get it, but I'm sick of being the first one to try out parts

raven's failed, i think it was from the timing being like 180* off. not sure exactly what kind of failure that can cause, just surprised the engine ran.

for the 272's you might be able to get away with it. Some people have had luck, some havent.
I have a set for sale if you're interested.

I have a stupid question !

Why do the rods say "2.2L cobalt" ? Thought you had a 2.0L crank ?
