I am constantly looking up future mods and i have a few questions about the disc style 79lb injectors from racetronix that have recently been talked about.

Right now i'm running a 2.9" pulley and soon to buy hptuners and start custom tuning. I'm looking to downsize my pulley eventually since with hptuners i can start mapping for larger injectors so i don't have to run my 42.5's to the max. My main concern is that i don't want to have to buy two sets of injectors (60's then 79's) since i'm planning on getting a TVS supercharger by next year, but i don't want to run smaller than a 2.8" pulley on my current setup, soo.

Would the 79lb injectors work alright for a 2.9" and 2.8" pullied eaton in the meantime, or would it be too much overkill and too troublesome and finicky to tune the right afr for this setup. I heard that idle surging is much less with the disc style injectors as well, any other opinions on these injectors will be much appreciated.

Also, when installing the injectors, do you just buy them with connectors and splice them into the current harness or do you buy a whole separate harness?

 

go with the 79's they are a better injector and only cost a little more. They wont be too much injector. Alot of places sell a harness and they are plug and play.

 

i dont believe youl ever have to much overkill....just really low idc's and plenty of room to grow....your just going to have problems with the fuel pump...maybe

 

do a return style fuel system first...
