Hell, stu ran a 12.75 with his M62 setup back in the day.

The M62 makes plenty of power to get these cars into the 13's, and high 12's with the right setup & driver.

Lol @ the guy never saw M62 in the 13s. My old Cobalt went 13.4@110 with ~600 in parts. Then went 12.7 when the guy who bought it put slicks on.
he speaks the truth about tires

Then either ur tune isnt good, u have no e85 or meth or a combination of both. these blowers need timing.

Can't wait to get Meth and my exhaust. Then off to getting a tune it is for me too. I personally know that without a proper tune you won't pull on a M62 powered Cobalt much. I love my TVS.

Nice purchase man. You will love it on a good aggressive tune. Im hoping to get to the track this year on the 2.9 and then again on the 2.7, and im hoping my QTP's still fit lol. Oh and not to be that guy, but a ported head compliments a TVS very well I liked my TVS on the stock head, then I made the tune more aggressive, got a 3" DP and got the head ported by Euthanasia and the car is a whole new animal. Anyways keep us posted when you put it on

Im excitied to get her going though sucks just looking at my tvs on my kitchen table but if i pull my head to swap for the ported one im going to do pistons and studs at the same time.

Hey, out of curiosity, how much does it cost to fill your meth tank? Could you obtain the same results for windshield washer? Im thinking of getting a tvs...this thread is awesome btw! cant wait for the results zrated!

well my situation right now is my meth pumped is fucked. The kid i bought it from on here stripped out the pumps flow setting, (dont know why he ever touched them) and the pumps only seeing about 50 psi. Its not even really strong enough to crack my check valve. So options are to get a new pump from rodney, or go with the new nice updated kit with the 250psi pump with the aluminum tank. (which im really leaning towards) once thats done im a little nervous about running the 2.8 with 60's that i have on the car now. If anyone has a log of ever doing that it would be nice to see the afrs and the idc. I know my meth will compensate for extra needed fuel, but i really dont wanna run the injectors on the ragged edge and have them go static on me during one of my track days where im in the higher rpm ranges alot. Those are the only 2 things i need to get straight first. Then she will be running. Plus im in VA and to really achieve my goals at the strip im gonna wait until the weather cools off some. 100+ degree temps suck

i run this

being a tech and knowing alot of the speed shop guys i race with, i get it really cheap. I mix it 50/50 with destilled water. usually a drum will last me a little over a month. Really depends on how much i run my car. i dont mess with the washer fluid and heet stuff. ( although the results can be just as good its less of a hassle)

I plan on running washer fluid once I get a meth kit. I'll just buy a couple cases when pre-mix 50/50 goes on sale for 99 cents a gallon at the super market.
