Another 2.1L build? I like it!

I keep hearing from people that the LE5 block is junk although I don't agree. ZZP keeps pushing out these 2.1L in all their high performance builds.

Theres the link to today's dyno. The car ended the day making 474whp on pump, corrected. From my understanding the car actually makes about 6-7% higher than stated because of the correction.

Not the power I was thinking but still not half bad. Still is a fresh motor, guess for now I just have a crazy ZZP car waiting for e85 or race gas to make some real power

That's what I was think Infa. I mean the fact that you almost pulled 500hp out of a 4 cylinder with one turbo that was running on gas with detergents in it lol Good ol pump gas. But very impressive how much timing was pushed to get that number btw?

Your guess is as good as mine. That would be something to ask Tim@zzp or Matt@zzp. I'm sure they both know :p

Honestly I'll have to ask. They are doing a drivability tune for me right now, it was too cold/icy last week. I should be ready to send for my car and get the final details, dyno sheet, ect ect here in the next week. I'll have to post all that up as I'm curious on the details as well. Its funny I'm unaware of the details but Tim and I keep our emails fairly short, I'll get it all finished up soon.

Oh man. You're like the perfect customer. I bet they love you over there.

Love the build. I may have to look into this if I end having to keep mine. Keep the photos and videos coming!

Yea, I know they had to do some extra work to my car to get everything together so I'm patient. I know it will be worth it in the end. I'm bout tired of waiting on the snow to stop up there though!! I'm definately getting some video's of the car driving once it arrives.

I've also been trying to talk the ol lady into letting me do a E47 blend.. so much potential...

I need to find a good tuner to hit the car up once its here as well. Sent Term2 a message, hopefully I hear back soon. Seems like he would do well.

Every big build, no matter the car, costs money. And alot of it.

So I've been wanting to post video's ect ect... But my car is still at ZZP. I guess they haven't been able to take it out to the street to test drive/dial things in because of snow. Just wanted to shoot an update...

Looks like quite the awesome beast!

I have alot of the same mods. Got the s256et turbo instead and the quaife lsd for the f35. Great, need to get a new one when I can afford the trans upgrade. lol.

So I'm getting ready to make a big post and put up a few vids of the car ....

However I'm dissatisfied with couple things I'll get into on my next post... I do have a question for you all!

I'm working on turning my boost up a few pounds (its turned down from my high dyno runs) and can't get the boost controller to cooperate. It looks hooked up wrong actually..

For those of you who have hooked up a zzp boost controller with a tial wastegate here is the question.

The top of the wastegate is hooked up as follows - Turbocharger vacuum to MBC to top of the wastegate

The bottom hole is hooked up as follows - Lower IC piping straight to the bottom air hole on the wastegate.

From what I read the correct way is to hook up a MBC straight from a boost source (Turbo or IC piping) to MBC to bottom wastegate hole and leave the top vented....

Thats a lot of babble, let me know if you guys understand, I have Term2 helping with tuning and he has told me nothing in the ECU is restricting boost, it sounds to me like its just running on WG pressure and the top hole is doing nothing..

Forget all that crap, for what you paid to have that car setup, tell zzp to fix it. Ridiculous. And nice car btw.
