You can drive as far as you want, just stay out of boost. Even if you do go into boost to the point where you spray, you'll just go rich. That's not a great thing, but better than going lean.

Sorry for all the noob-age guys, but what's the difference b/n Stage 1 and Stage 2? And does either one come with a tank so I dont have to use my washer fluid reservoir?

Everyone here says " noticeable gain" but I REALLY beg to differ. It works, that's for sure.. my IAT's are ridiculously low with the meth and Heat Exchanger, but as far as power, i really didnt feel anything.

Really? I was able to completely redo my PE and add a bunch of timing. 3rd gear pulls like 2nd used to.

Stage 2 is progressive, so that you can adjust the flow from the point where it starts flowing to the point where it is fully sprating. Stage 1 is on or off - no progressive.

So you just set Stage 1 to kick in at like 10psi or something and it just goes? Whereas Stage 2 you can adjust it so it eases into fully spraying?

I think maybe AIS sent me a nozzle that's too small for my application... I used -20*F washer fluid, and couldn't even advance a half degree.

Is there any advantage to trunk mount vs firewall mount or is it just where they're mounted

Just mounting position, once the lines are primed with fluid it's going to get to the nozzle in the same amount of time.

Okay that's what I figured. Does Stage 1 or Stage 2 come with a tank?

I believe both do, but just FYI, you can get stage 1 fender mount with no tank and you can tap your windshield washer fluid tank. It's space effective and works just as well.. it's what I did

Okay, so, here's Methanol Injection for Dumbies.

The Methanol, in my system, Comes through this small line tapped into the windshield washer reservoir.

It then travels through this pump.

Through this check valve

and straight into this nozzle.

Other than the wiring, the only other thing you have to do is tee off a vacuum source, so the pump will come on at X amount of boost.

Hope that helped

It's reallly reallllly not hard. If you can put on a CAI you should be able to put on methanol, IMO.

Haha, like I sad... it's really simple, people hype it and make it seem harder, I believe.
