I put a screw through the harness in the column lol

Put a new turn signal switch in and everything works great lights are very bright and turn signals brake lights all work.

I need to take steering wheel off again because it's ****-eyed a little bit which is extremely annoying to me.

Still need to install fans and adjust shifter linkage
Car is pretty close to be pretty nice.

3100 rpms (unverified) at 60mph 😬

Maybe a resistor in the line from sender to trick relay

Looks good man! I will never forget my first build. I was about 12 at the time and my dad and I were wedging a 428 CJ motor in a 77 F150 short bed step side. My dad thought he had the linkage in park, and it was in reverse. He has me start it up. He tells me to give it a little gas and so I do. It left jet black marks out of the garage. Luckily the door was up. He was trying to throw it in park from the window. Luckily I was smart enough then to hit the brakes just inches before hitting our clothes line. Is the linkage wore? Its pretty common. I know my 67 Camaro's was really bad.

it seems pretty tight, its just out of adjustment after all the years or whatever.

can't reach 3rd because it hits the console.

i was able to get the shifting better...

all i did was shim the shifter bracket with a washer and it shifts into 3rd now easily

the underside of the car has serious rust on the floor boards

i will had to take care of that, its rusted through to the carpet on the drivers side really bad and just starting on the passenger side.

its not too hard to peel back carpet and weld in some sheet metal

i ordered vision wheels off ebay with -6 offset and 4.25" backspacing. the same specs as the ecklers ones they advert FOR c3 corvettes. they were really discounted, $240 shipped for 4

then i ordered a trim ring and center cap package from ecklers for $260 with the GM licensed derby caps

Wheels look fking sweet, had to grind a e brake bracket a tiny bit

Air cleaner and 210on 195off fan switch work great. Probably get the black same style valve covers sometime

Did driver's side pan was a pita cause metal was so thin on a lot of spots

I used tiny harbor freight arc welder kept burning though or not penetrating easily but finally got it, filled a lot of gaps.

Yikes that's a lot of cancer. GM and their cancer problems. They all did it no matter what platform.

I was going to ask if it was T top related or window seals. Thats the spots that cause the issues. At least the passenger side isn't bad.
