hey guys so ..i put in an hid kit with my dads 05 cavalier...we have drl's in canada so they would flicker on and off with them on so i pulled the relay ..now the service light goes on with it..fine w/e but the thing is that even with it back in or not the reverse lights don't work? wtf is up with that????..and how woul di get the service light out of there

 

ur supposed to pull the fuse not the relay. hope u didnt pull it out or put it back in with the ignition in the acc or on position

 

there is no fuse for the drl only a relay that says drl on it

 

must be one, did u check both the engine bay and inside the car fuse panel?

 

I had an 03 Z24 and there is no fuse. You're right by pulling the relay. Unfortunalty theres no way to shut the service light off. I pulled my DRL relay before it rolled out of the dealership and stared at the service light for 6 years. You just don't notice it after a while. And you're DRL relay has nothing to do with you're reverse lights. You have a different problem
