i think i'm going to hold off for a better solution, why pay that much for something that your going to have to basically redo and repowdercoat... but it does look good, its better than not being covered.

i really don't see how you would profit much from that, buying it from them just in stainless is 70 bucks, then your going to have to measure and drill it weld the other holes closed sand it back down, then take it for powdercoat, so your looking at like 10 - 20 bucks to get it powdercoated. 90 bucks would be your price, and then i'm sure you would want to charge more so you make a profit, so lets say you charged 30 bucks for labor which i'm sure you would want more, but hypothecially then your looking at 120, i dunno how many people on here would pay 120 minimum for this product... similar prodcuts like this at mrz performance are 65 bucks not powdercoated, sure yours would look better, but i just don't know if it'd be word the 55 bucks more.

now if you didn't anything but satisfaction out of it the cheapest you could get out is 80 - 90 bucks and i still dunno how many people would pay that.

i guess those that want ultimate custom job maybe.. not trying to kill your idea, just trying to be realistic about it... then who knwos people may read this and go ya i'd pay 120 for someone else to do the legwork...

so maybe those that read this post up what you would think would be a good price give the guy soem profit as well what would you pay for it?

I think i saw a better looking one from MRZ but i could be dreaming. Does look nice to get the plastic off, would be a good summer piece for sure.

MRZ does make one -- and it sits up taller than this one. I think it would look better on a 2.4 -- or 2.2 that has VVT because the camshaft solenoids fill in the open area. I do like the way it sits inside the VC rather than on top of the VC like the MRZ one does.

This product is made for the 2.4 witch is only in the SS Cobalt. We wanted to make one for the 2.2 as well but there was not mutch interest for this product. A design that looks perfect is impossible to acheive on these engines because of the coils being very high over the valve cover. 2 options here, either you see the coils, witch is pointless since this is supposed to be a coil cover and there is no romm for a emblem... or you cover the coils and get a cover that stick higher but you can put a design in there. We tested the 2 option here before making them and the best looking was the cover that hide coils and, cam actuators, and all the wiring of the 2.4...

If you guys want to have one made for the 2.2 just let us know and we can do something for you...

i don't care that the top of the coil packs show, but int he dmm works one it covers most of it just the tops show i'd buy one if you could make it like that... its for aesthetics anyways.

was wasn't trying to be rude or mean, i like the cover you guys did for the other version just not that one.
