09 cobalt ss seat fabric?

i am calling out to the css.net people for help to find out what the fabric our seats are made out of?
I know the gray insert is a suede like ultralux but what is the black mesh like fabric?

i found it ! they have a book that has all of the stock fabric samples in it from gm called "detroit book" and here are the numbers for the fabric in the seat up above

05.557 ebony impression (black mesh)
09.9235 lt gray suede amaretta (gray insert)

ok now here is the killer!
the black mesh fabric is $60 a yard
the Lt Grey suede is $200 a yard ouch!! What do they think this is gucci!

I'm glad they didn't skimp out on the seats. Just kind of wish they didn't skimp out on the rest of the vehicle as well (trim, sunroof, rear brakes)

most likely will do it in the summer, My current setup is dyed and I hate how the texture is now.

I thought about the dash many times, the biggest issue is our ac vents are molded in, so ending the fabric at that edge will be difficult to do.

here is the link to the detroit book i found the fabric # in Under Cover Upholstery - Detroit Book 2009 Upholstery Fabric Samples its the 7 and 9 pic

i asked at my local store Rusmart Auto Upholstery and they looked it up from there supplier and that was the prices they gave me. They have other books that have the fabrics listed but under other product # but still listed under cobalt fabric

So the UltraLux interior came in Ebony for the Grand Prix and that is what they list for onlt $28/yd. Code C6552.06 looks like this in a 2005 model:


...and a TC for comparison.

Looks a little different then the ebony from the TC seats but just maybe it's the lighting. Who wants to be a guinea pig and buy some?
