18inch and 17inch

i have a set of 18 inch powdered black, and a set of 17 inch chrome, same wheels one set off of a SC and one off of the sport... I was wondering if it'd look good with 18 on the back and 17 on the front? Note: if i decide to do this i'd get the 17's powdered black as well...

i've seen kids put like 16 on front and 15 on back on little civics and looks dumb...

you could always put them on and see if they look good now and then get the 17s powerdercoated

redlines wheels are all the same size..
your car would look worse if u ran 2 different size wheels

thats what i was thinking, the only issue i had was usually the bigger wheels go in the back , but most of the time they're on muscle cars (rear wheel drive), but i guess we'll see like i said hah

Wouldn't that put a lil more pressure on the fronts?

What if you peel out?

i'd think the biggest problem with it would be that your wheel gap would be all jacked up, and the 17 would look even more undersized. it'd make more sense to do non-stock rims and put a wider tire on the front, if you insist on staggering them. then you'd be increasing your contact patch up front, and alleviating some understeer - see grand prix gxp.

oh, one more thing... YOUR CAR IS FRONT WHEEL DRIVE!

that is all.

The only thing I would do to a FWD car is get wheels with a wider lip for the rear than the front (fill out the rear wheel wells a little better...however, then you run into problems if you run directional tires...can't rotate them)...wouldn't mix different diameter wheels.
