1st Gen Projectors turn signal led poll

Ok i have a set of the first gen projectors with the eyelid painted with nightshades. I'm trying to beef up the turn signal because i have a "high power led" replacement for the stock 3157 bulb and its really not that bright and i wanted to make sure there's something visible behind the eyelid. In the very corner tip with the I've added 10 10mm amber leds and i was thinking of putting 3 in the normal blue led area since i don't have the "stock" led holders anyway. I also have this 5w high power star led nonsense that im debating on where to put or if i should even use it (it was 7 bucks for a single led and if i use it id have to by another to make it parallel on both sides and if i don't that's a waste). I was half thinking to drill a hole in the normal turn signal area and throw it in there but meh i don't know. It also fits perfect in the "stock" led location

What should i do?

So i finally figured out what im going to do... I sorta wanted to use the extra 10mm leds to light up the running light reflector but i figured it would be a good place to use the star led. I cut out a piece of ABS to the size of the reflector glued a chrome backing to the abs to help distribute the light and glued it all in place. Overall im pretty impressed

you better post some pics of all the mods you did to your 1st gens. i didn't think the leds on the side would look good but then i saw them on in your gallery and it looks hot. i might do somethign like that. it bothers me having that little gap between the side marker and the turn signal.

ya i like them. the ccfls are damn bright and since the leds are directional and are pointed to the roof in this pic it doesn't do them justice

oh and the triangle has the super mega led

That is pretty sweet!!! I want some more pics.

When you say they are pointed to the roof, do you mean something like the 4 LED's on a 06 350Z's headlights...

My little brother has a 06 350 with some LED's like that...
