3rd Gen Headlight LED swap??

Has anyone swapped out the 3 small LED [194] & the Angel eyes LED board's on the 3rd gen headlights>? if so, what parts [LEDs/Resistors/etc] should i order to perform the swap/upgrade both for the small LED and LED board?

Is there/where an Angel eye set I can purchase to perform this?

What the difference between the Angel eyes set: CCFL and the other type [forgot the name]?

Yes i've changed both. The 3 leds you can get from buyhids.com in different colors. And CCFL halos you can get from 3bspec.com. Both are vendors on here. For the halo size you want 85mm for the projectors and 94mm for the high beams.

Advantages of CCFL Angel Eyes

* Plastic shroud emits illuminates a solid light.

* Available in pre-formed shapes for vehicle specific applications.

* Matches CCFL and LED angel eyes on existing projector headlights.

Advantages of LED Angel Eyes

* Simple design allows for easier installation.

* No CCFL inverters, which reduces a failure point.

* Custom designs can be made for relatively low costs.

Hope this helps
