55 Watt Hids in 1 Gen projectors.

I was wondering if anyone is running 55 Watt Hids in their 1 Gen Projectors? Any issues with them.
I had 35 watt hids in them and they aren't that much brighter then stock due to the projectors.

I have the 35's on the harness so that wouldn't be a issue. Is there a lot better light output with them over the 35's?

i went from 35 watt 10k to 55 watt 6k so there was an incredible difference from them but thats not a fair comparison. but i have people tell me my headlights are really bright pretty often

any output shots? theres a guy still trying to sell a set cheap and thought about picking them up, originally decided not too because of talk of poor output, but Id like to see 55w, first thought thinks they would melt but if its been done thats another story.

im running 55w 6k in my gen 1's. after a while they melted the lens but i just swapped it out for the lens on the stock headlights. the lenses on my gen 1's were peeling pretty badly too so i didnt really care. other than that there's no issues and my lights are pretty damn bright.

Not the best and a little out of line but here you go. Just headlights no fogs at about 15 ft away

I had 55w 6k in my 1st gens, bright as ****. Just don't put anything covering the headlamp when it's on, I melted the clear lens with a t-shirt and had to replace with an OEM lens.

I already have OEM lenses on mine.
They look as bright in that pic as factory Hid's do.

I had 6K's from him in mine. They were dim and flickered all the time.
I'm running the battery harness also.
