very happy today, I'm receiving in the mail a set of CCFL 3rd gen black projector HID 8k with the HID 8k fog lights kit. I couldn't wait for it because with the stock headlights I can't see a damn thing at night in the rain. I hope these projector will make me see better. Did you guys notice a good improvement with the projectors?

 

They'll be better than stock. If you're still not happy with the output pick up a set of 4300k bulbs, they'll be quite noticeably brighter than those 8000ks. Be sure to do the anti glare mod on them.

 

but they won't look blue right?

 

the 4300k bulbs will be the same color OEM hids are. So mostly white with a tiny hint of yellow. The 8000ks will be a light blue.

 

I want to buy these headlights sometime this month

 

If you get 3rd gens you can't replace the halos without taking off the lens...It sucks. My halo just went out from having these projectors a year or so. If you get a crappy pair you will also have heat expansion cracks and the gloss will come off the lens. I don't have that at least

 

I love my Gen3's. I have 8000k hids also. Post up some pics when you get em on!
