adding ccfl halos

Hey guys long time reader. Probally first time poster. I have done a bit of checking around for my answer but perhaps my search fu is bad. I have been taking a look around on the net for CCFL headlights and finding some to my liking. My question is because I am going to be making the Halos green. Is it possible to take non CCFL headlights and use the CCFL Strips I have bought? Thanks guys.

ya, if you bake open the headlights, you can take out the old led halos, and glue in ccfl halos and wire them in just like the led ones are wired. There's a how to here https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-...ectors-125327/. The halo size will change depending on what lights you are using, but the methods are the same.

There is a better alternative to the ccfl rings. I had them first a found the ballast to go pretty quick. A better alternative are LED rings. Ive seen a few put the white rings in while I put blue ones in. There alot brigter and Ive had them in over a year now and not one has burnt out yet
