adjusting headlight horizontally
adjusting headlight horizontally
ok, i know how to adjust the light vertically but it doesn't say how to adjust it horizontally
i've searched all over and couldn't find the answer to that.
i want to adjust them a little bit to the left, how do i do that??

US DOT headlights are only aimable in the vertical plane... they don't have a horizontal adjustment. You would need an European E-Code headlight such as the 2nd Generation style of aftermarket projector headlamps for you to have that adjustment.
I do find it rather odd that, as the op points out, there is no horizontal adjustment on the Cobalt
why do you need to turn them a little more left? with my 2nd gen projectors you just twist the knob at the bottom, but idk what kind of headlights you have
My 535 can be adjusted in the horizontal plane, as can my wifes Taurus, as can EVERY OTHER car I have owned in the past 30+ years, domestic or imported.

At least, none that I have been able to find.

This Cobalt is the ONLY car out of the 15 or so I have owned (Japanese, European, American) that does NOT have any adjustment for the horizontal aim of the headlights.
