I haven't looked it up so i could be wrong, but something you might want to check before you do that. If you have a older car without the Air bag, no problem though...
BIG difference! I wouldnt recommend taking your stock steering wheel off by yourself, you have a great chance of getting a face full of airbag! Its only goin to be abot $75 dollars to have the aftermarket steering wheel installed.
Really? I have yet to find a place that will swap out a steering wheel that has an air bag to one that doesn't have one. Most places won't even touch that.

no! if you disconnect the battery and wait 2 minutes you will be fine! But the airbag light will be on.

That wheel looks nice. Where would one go to check the legality of an aftermarket steering wheel?

Just about all aftermarket wheels, especially bright colored wheels, look rice as hell. That is unless you have something quality like momo or sparco. IMO it looks like a cheap high school kids car and a lot worse than stock.

not being a dink or starting **** but airbags are designed to not deploy if you press the break when getting into an accident head on. there designed to not dis-charge for the simple fact that as the car is moving forward at whatever said speed . . . if you suddenly get into a head on or front hit, once the car hits object the car stops moving forward . . . .inertia continues to pull you forward at the rate of speed you were traveing.there for if the airbag goes off in your face and you were doing 60 or whatever, you would get an airbag exploding in your face and causing serious harm or even fatality.they make them so if the brakes are applied they dont cause you harm.

there more for if you dont see it comming and it also has to be hit in the sensors range for them to deploy

now i'm going with this cause this is what was taught to me when i was in school for autobody

I think your wheel looks nice, I couldn't give up my cruise and radio controls though (I'm looking for a new wheel for my truck that has the radio controls now) But it turned out nice. Why did you not have a Airbag before? Accident?
