Are all the Redline guys on this site dicks? It sure seems like it.
i actually still have access to my cruise control...all i need to do is wire it and put it some where thats convinient for me....ill post that up when ever i get that done....and yes i was in an accident so i have no airbags in my car....i guess the wheel gives it away....lol

i probably would have never changed it but it was cheaper to change the wheel than to get the airbag.....let see 400 per airbag or no airbag at all......

steering wheel on ebay 1 cent
hub adapter on ebay $10
blue chevy button on ebay $10

let see 400 per = 800 plus installation
or

$20.01 and i do the installation for new steering...and no passenger airbag....

Hmm $800 or a smashed up face in an accident?

I dunno what it is about some people, but air bags are there for a reason why would you want to get rid of some thing that could save your life. Not to mention you were just in an accident...

I just installed the SS leather wheel with cruise and audio control in my LS. I love it, makes me feel like I have a nicer car, plus cruise and audio controls are a must.

I like the steering wheel. It's too bad it doesn't match the outside a little more, but I guess the baby blue matches the inside pretty well.

I thought they sold aftermarket steering wheels with airbags in them. I can't remember where I saw it, and it could very well be a fluke, but I was looking at cars a while back and I found one that said it had a steering wheel, momo I think, that had an airbag in it. Just curious, but I guess someone would have said something by now if it was out.

My only guess is that 3&4pt harnesses are what usually ge called "tuner" harnesses, and while they may hold in place better for spirited driving, they arent really any(if at all) safer than stock, and often due to mis-installation are actually a safety hazard as opposed to a safety feature.

A properly installed 6/7pt harness with at least 2.5" webbing and an SFI/FIA approval is really the only way to go if your gonna ditch the stock belts.

At least thats my thoughts on the subject.

Werd, alot of people will say they are more dangerous (for daily driving) than stock seatbelts
