All projector headlight owners!

Hi,

I'm just looking for a general consensus on the quality of the projector lights. I really like the look of the 2nd gen lights (or could live with the third gen), but I'm not going to bother if they're all crap. I'd prefer not to go with HID as well.

So, what do you think of your purchase, did it work out for you, and did it last?

Mine have been fine since the day I installed them. All the LEDs and halos still work and the lens still looks fine. I have third gens with HIDs.

Not sure how much light higher end projectors put out, but I've had mine for about a month now and the light output with my HID's is WAY better than stock. I have 3rd Gens by the way, and my led's all still work. I'm happy with my purchase

I've had the 1st Gen for a while now, besides the usual peeling of the clear coat and occasional fogging, all the leds and halos are still working. I've been running 10,000K HID's in them for almost a year now with no issues at all and the light output is much improved over stock.

i think mine are the 3rd gen??? whatever the CCFL ones are. i had them with just regular bulbs for about 2 months before i put 10K HIDs in them. they were great with the regular bulbs and even better with the HIDs. the only thing that was a pain in the ass with them was aligning them

Good/Good.

3rd gen, 6000K hid, all leds/halos working. Granted I've only had them in for a week and a half. My 2nd gen, the light bar, burned out in a day. 1st gens, inner halo on passenger went out, due to tab snapping, been meaning to fix that, and throw them on my dads cobalt! lol

well it seems by the poll just over half have seen good results. I guess to ease my pain I may be going with 3b's deal (supported vendor)...I've heard they're reputable. I don't expect to send anything back like a year later, but I want a good source and someone who will be able to take defective units back, and they seem to be the guys to do so. I also like the fact they did the anti-glare mod as well, which is always a plus..
