Any suggestions on this headlight?

I know there's a thread specifically for headlights, but I just had some general questions before I purchase these possibly.

I'm looking at this set of Cobalt projector headlights. Does anyone have any reviews of them? They seem the most "OEM" to me out of all projectors. I'm thinking these are 2nd generation?? Any reviews, light output, etc. would be helpful! Thanks!

yes 2ng gen i love them i bought mine used and the bar across the lights burned out on the prev owner i like it w/o them anyways, i had to disconect my LED's cause the were melting the wires for some reason, these are the easiest to install simple plug and play, high beams are hella bright too,ive had a hard time aiming them though but it was also january when i was freezing my ass of trying to aim them

those are alittle over priced though IMO

I had these... I cant speak for everyone tho, but i have spoken with 2 other dudes who had the same leaking issues i did. Got water into one of 'em and shorted out the halos. Otherwise the headlights and all still work fine. And when its all working properly these things look wicked

Truth. Mine went out, then i heard afterwards that it wasnt uncommon. I'm not that upset, they're still sexy with the halos off.

Honestly, I wasn't that concerned about the halos or not .... I like the way they looked ... not too over the top ... how is their light output?

Have any of you guys thrown HIDs in them?

I think the new Gen 2s have little black boxes that clean up the power before sending it to the halos/bar/leds that fixes this burning out problem. My brother just got a set of Gen 2's and they had the black boxes. Haven't had any problem with them yet!
And he has 6000K HIDs from vvme.com in them!
