Anybody customize their SS front upper grille?

Hey guys,
I'm looking for pictures of what guys have done with the SS (any cobalt actually) front upper grilles. I was thining of cutting it out cause to tell you the truth, i'm not a fan of the plastic fins. Maybe paint it. Well, post up ur pics!.

Also, what have guys done with chevy symbol on the front grille. Was thinking of trying to find a red or carbon fiber one to replace it. Anybody know were to buy those?

thanks!
Nate

Nate, when I go to paint my roll cage, we could just mask and paint both of your bowties.

I've been thinking about doing something similar, but I'm not sure if I want to ruin my stock grill inserts to make new ones. I was just going to paint the mesh either black or gunmetal and remove the stock inserts.

A Dremel works good. If you make a mistake, which is nearly impossible not to, you can just use Bondo to resurface the area.
