DO NOT GET THEM...they are absolute ****. quality is horrible. i have them on my car and was the single greatest mistake i made on the car. I should have just got stock replacement mirrors.







to answer your other questions....i would rate it about a 3. I got mine from CA.com and there were absolutley NO instructions. wiring was a bitch.

first off... pecimistic... much?

Second, I kinda like them! i would probably have them sanded down and color matched before installing them though. Other then that, they are pretty bitchen!

P.s. (going chrome mirrors and thinking they would look good was youre mistake, not the mirrors, so.... kiss and make up )

i had these mirrors for my s-10 blazer and can vouch for enuf_saids opnion on these mirrors... there just peices of crap overall... the plastic is fragile. the finish is cheap.. the glass is crappy and easily scrachable
they didnt fit well at all, had to drill into the door...and the mirror was too small to see out of properly and they viberated alot

i honestly have nothing good to say about these things... dont waist your money

the mirrors are tiny...i expected it but i knew i had to deal w/ it. It's tolerable. as far as vibration....my subs shake the hell outa them and i'm waiting for them to fall off. I cant play certain songs because of the damn mirrors

well your personal opinion on the matter would be valid... though the item he provided on ebay, and the ones on your cobalt, are not only two dif manufacturers... but two different styles entirely! The ones on ebay that he linked to are much more rounded, and from pics i have seen on other websites, seem to be of a much higher quality than the ones you purchased. I agree, the ones on your car don't look that great, but the ones on ebay look pretty good.

At least thats IMO. which can be valid or invalid depending on the readers point of view.

p.s. I know my grammer isn't the best right now, but i've been sick for a week with this **** floatin around so cal, so gimmie a break. Plus, who really cares?

 

ca.com admited that the manufacture are the one in the same. and they all use the same crappy mounting bracket. it just a diff. style mirror.

ok i'll give you that? but how do you know they havn't improved on their design and manufacturing process since the ones you bought? because they seem to fit just fine on the pictures provided from another member just a few posts up, and an owner who modified their ride to that extent, with everything looking so clean, wouldn't leave **** mirrors on their car now would they? (assuming they care of course) I mean heres a personal example on a slightly different front.

I was one of the adopters of the first gen Projectors, every one loved them, but the ones i got... were TERRIBLE! the the bolt tabs for the bracket wore out only after a few adjustment sessions, and there was some retarded film they put on the lens, which after a couple months... began to PEAL thats right PEAL off the lens... it was a horrible sight.. and really ricey lookin too. yet many of the other adopters of the original 1st gen lights experience no such issues with the sets they baught. A couple people here and there maybe. But does that mean the entire line is junk? Definately not, it's just inevitable with items that are mass produced, samples are taken 1 out of every couple thousand (or less) and ultimately, messed up items get through. Sure it sucks when it happens, but thats life.

Also, when you say don't speak of which i know nothing, make sure the person your talking to truely doesn't have any knowledge in what they speak. Believe me, have adopted many products early on that were improved upon later and felt screwed over with. So don't gimmie that, especialy since you know nothing about what i may have or have not done, and are just making random assumptions. thats where i give you the benifit of the doubt, you sound (as I read anyway) as a consumer who was very unhappy with a product, and just wrote it off, never thinking for a second that things can improve. Again, very pecimistic of you. However i give you the benifit of the doubt in terms of what you may or may not have looked up. (which i obviously messed up on when assuming they were different makers, however, i'm stil pretty sure therew is another manufacturer out there that produces a similer product.) Anyway, before this post gets any longer, don't say the entire line sucks, because you don't know that for an absolute fact. What you can say however is that youre experience with the Item sucked, and that the company sucked in the way it may or may not have handled things with you, resulting in bad juju with you and their product.

So on the final side of things, since there are no more positive things to say on either side of the arguement, and no more pictures to be displayed either because no body has them or nobody wants bad juju. I think this thread should be ! though that is just my personal opinion.

Originally, I just had the black plastic mirror covers, but I found body-colored ones on eBay. I think they look 100x better now.
