anyone notice the same thing?

I'm the proud owner of the yellow supercharged beast (as I like to call it) (Mods to come).
But I have noticed that my trunk color is a darker shade of yellow than the rear ground effects. Has anyone notticed this on their Cobalt? It is only noticeable up close, but it is noticeable. Did something get messed up off the production line? I've only had my 06 for 2 weeks, BTW.

Any comments would be helpful.

it's because one is metal the other is plastic, the paint takes to them differently and refracts the light differently
