Anyone with side airbags..

Has anyone with side airbags removed the pillar to swap out the stock boost gauge? I tried the other day and it looks like the nozzle for the airbag is through the pillar. I didn't want to pull to hard and chance breaking something with the airbag right there...

Any input is much appreciated.

I would hope not. I'm just really worried about breaking the pillar.

Just tug little harder . I took mine off to get my mechanical boost gauge in and I have side bags . Once you get the screw at the top out and the smaller screw at the bottom out , theres 2 clips underneath .....that like the silver dash pieces are OVERKILL . So it takes a little working to get it out
