Sure sign of a car nut - you now have a better paint job on your emblem than Chevy put on the rest of the car

What, you think they rolled it on?

Judging from some of the stuff they built in the 80's, maybe they did?

Haha I got this stuff at home depot because I wasn't sure my friend told me to get plastidip. I got this other stuff said it works for plastic, metal, wood, and a lot more. I used the nightshade on my tailight and side markers. Going to do the reverse lights today. btw wjone that was done perfect thats exactly what i want. 10 coats...wow. I used like 4 on my tail lights but then again I didn't want to me a cop magnet and have to get new tail lights =]

^ liljone was talking about his front Chevy emblem...8 coats of paint and 10 coats of clear.

I'm going to call a few stores around here and see if they can order it. In MN, I haven't found anybody that carries Nite-Shades, but someone on a Focus forum said O'Reilly can order it and if I can save shipping, I will. Also, I picked up a second set of tail lights to do and I'll keep my stockers as well so if I do get in any trouble, I can just switch back. But I'm only doing 2-3 coats at most.

Looks like you need to wet sand them to get out all those imperfections that I see and more CLEAR coats, then you'd be set.
