Black Diamond Headlights, small problem.
Black Diamond Headlights, small problem.
Not sure if this is normal or not, got a brand spanking new set of "Eagle Eyes" Black diamon headlights, as seen on ebay. Got them on , fit great look great. although i went to wsh my car, and i noticed some small fogging around the bottom base of the headlights, at first i was in shock and pissed off, so i pranced around the car for a few mins upset, then about the 10th lap around the car the foggyness was gone. obviously the head lights are not air tight.
is this normal? or a problem? its too much of a hassle to send em back fora new pair, when the same problem may occur. any suggestions?!

I only noticed it on the very first wash i gave my car with the new headlights on. i never noticed it on my stockies. being they didn't have a black background, i doubt i wouldve noticed it, the black contrasts the fog better.
are you talking about the projector headlights?? If so they all do it. Simple solution is to buy black or clear silicone caulk and put it around the whole headlight where the clear lens and black housing meet. A simple $5 fix. I just did mine and it has been raining for 2 days, no more problems
awesome, i'll do that tomorrow. Even though, tis not the projectors, but its from the same "seller" and company who makes the projectors, its the black diamond ones, basically stock looking black head lights. ill give that a try though, thanks! +rep
