black headlights??

black headlights??

i need some opinions on how i should paint my headlights... i can do them all black or chrome trim them . I can do em flat black, gloss black, mettalic black, or another color. also add somewhat of a tint...What you guys think, i have a black 07 ss/sc...thanks...

actually ImlikeDrPepper has his flat black on his red SS/SC and it looks very sharp in person. I have the lazer blue and am doing mine gloss black...from what i have seen so far it is going to look very clean. I think the typeof black depends upon your car color and personal preference really

We did high temp satin black on the inside of a black LT. Took the orange circles out and changed turn bulbs to orange to keep it legal

hey you could always just do semi gloss and you would get the best of both worlds lol and thats what i did

I actually bought the ones from ebay...I'm lazy...lol.

The best part is, they are molded plastic, not paint...I actually left the orange reflectors in, orange car and all. Then I put in those silver/amber bulbs, the reflector lights up a nice dark orange color

I went metallic on mine. It looks good on more than just black! Mine is orange and its awesome!

I agree. I also have the sunburst orange color and black headlights look amazing with it.

i said at the end that i have a BLACK 2007 SS/SC, ...i think i might just go semi gloss but im not sure how anything looks, if anyone has pictures of a black SS with either gloss, semi-gloss, or flat black painted headlights can i please see them, thanks!

i wish i could re-do mine. I want to frost the inside of the corner light and throw an LED behind it. that way the whole orange circle thing will GLOW instead of just having a light bulb behind it

it would look awesome IMO. any thoughts?

I painted my headlights metallic black last july, and it's way better than regular black. Here's my creative masking at work.....

nope that is semi gloss i thought gloss would have too much of a shine
