The visors were originally glued. I just pulled them apart carefully then did my thing and reglued them.

 

Thats what I was hoping to hear, thanks. My wifes grandmother used to run an upholstery shop, so it shouldnt be too much of a stretch for her.

 

so are you planning on doing your recaro inserts yourself? i did the rest of me interior black a while back but i have been wanting suede in my recaros forever! if your not doing them yourself how much were you quoted to have them done?

 

My moms friend is doing it for me. She has a really expensive sewing machine and does this kinda thing for a living, so she said she'd do it for $200. I'm getting the rear inserts done for that too. She did my dads boat interior and did a killer job, it looks brand new. I asked what she would charge anyone else and she said not a penny less than $350 but could get $400 for a job like this.
