Black it Out? Or Leave it Chrome?
Black it Out? Or Leave it Chrome?
I need everyone's opinion as I am wrapping us this set of projectors. The chrome shrouds I ordered for the side projectors were not working out, so i tried something a little different and I love it. I painted the shrouds black because they were a grey color not chrome.
My question is, do i leave the main headlight shroud chrome or paint it black it black out the whole headlight?
Opinions!!!

Updated pictures with the amber reflector back on. The shroud for the side projector is back off for touch up paint. Smudged the clear coat putting it back on. So it's got 3 coats of clear and is sitting for 24 hours before putting back on. This about what they will look like on the car though.

The 2nd picture is on the car and the orange reflector wasn't snapped in all the way. I tested fitted it, but didn't want to force it in as I was afraid to smear the paint.

Yeah I think I had the same problem you had with your side projectors... no shroud would really work well in there... I went through like 3 different styles and nothing looked good. What you've done here looks really good though. Can't wait to see finished product!
But definitely IMO, completely tint the side marker.
