Black out tail lights

Black out tail lights

So im going to black out my tail lights but dont know if i should leave the black up light. Would i look funny with two white circles or does it even matter?

I've seen it done with leaving the BACK up lights un-tinted. It looks better with the whole light done though.

yes it looks better black, but you wont see **** at night esp. if your windows are tinted

Cover the clear part of your reverse lights, then nightshade the rest

I'm taking my nightshade off. I've almost been hit a couple times from people not being able to see them. Also the reverse lights really dont work when you have it on them.

I nightshaded over the reverse light part.

I can't see **** at night, but I did like 5 or 6 coats

They look awesome, but if it's sunny out, you can't see if I'm braking or not.

i just got a ticket for my tail lights, their dark as hell
i bought some brighter lights and you still couldnt see anything, gotta take em off now,
go to court say i got them removed, then re-do them VERY lightly

I had black tail lights, they started to look shitty after a while, and they marked up so easily, I just stripped them, I like them red a lot more

^^^^to everyone, this is why it's butter to just get custom lights. i used to get scared about ppl hitting me because they couldn't see if i was braking, turning...
