i got an '06 red cobalt ss s/c and im thinkin bout paintin my stock rims black and putting on black stripes. wht u guys think

 

same set up i got. except i have aftermarket rims.



i now have projectors tho.

o, and i still have to finished them to the bottom

just painted the rims today took my time and i think they turned out real good

 

I have a vic red ss/sc. De winged. This weekend.... Mike(Mkulrey13) Dana (dayta) And myself are painting my stock rims gloss black with a red pinstripe around the outside. Also, we are painting my front lip. I think the stripes look good!

Im still trying to decide if I should go all the way down, this is what I did so far.

 

those are really nice stripes i really like the pin stripe. im going all the way down on mine. yours would look badass with stripes all the way down u should do it

 

stripes on a cobalt look very nice and clean imo. Almost like they should be there...

damnnnnnn...im diggin the stripes man, the pinstripe addition makes it look all the better. very nice.

take it off and paint it yourself, i did mine and i used bulldog black paint, its friggin amazing and its meant for painting plastic materials, puts that krylon crap to shame.

 

i jus put the stripes on today. its dark here so i didnt get great pics but there was one that was alright.

i went ahead and put a 4 inch gap instead the reccomended two and like it alot better. ill put up more pics later. also mad props to people who put on vinyl. this was a major learning expeirence but i finally got the hang of it and feel really comfortable doing it. hey maybe i can get a job doing it. lol

oh got my ark shorty antenna today too and it looks great. hell alot better than hack sawing that stock antenna

Dammit, I want stripes. I love stripes on cars. (the style you guys have) Thing is I ain't paying $300 for a few thin pieces of plastic from GM. WTF! Anyone know where I can find these stripes cheaper? And I want the ones made for the cobalt like you guys have. Besides I don't have much of a choice. The guy I'm getting a wing from on here has them.

i got mine from auto trim design. u can buy there stuff way cheaper on ebay and its straight from the company. real good stuff i put my own on and didnt have any problems

 

only like $100 cheaper. =/ I mean I can understand $100 for stripes but 200 or 300? A bit excessive much??

 

200 isnt bad for having it all ready for u just to put on
