I used VHT's NITE-SHADES (From O'Reilys)

Just removed tail lights
cleaned with windex
sprayed two coats on the tail lights
and three coats on the reverse lights edges but only two coats on the face of the reverse lights

Well I wanted to but I didn't have any clear or 800 grit or the time and had seen how my buddy's subi turned out so I knew I'd be satisfied with this alone. Still may clear oat and polish it up later though

Looks nice. And post pics when lights are done.

Personally, I would leave them red on a red car, and I'm blacking out mine on my black car here soon just to match.

Do you have LEDs in there?

In the meantime, Plasti Dip the wheels! $5.98 a can at your local Home Depot. for under $24 bucks you can have yourself the blackout look.

gotta say i have thought about plasti dip but im aiming for the dark gray color idk though cuz id say if i did it and clear coated with a matte finish and then hit it with rubbing compound and a little wax it would be like a gray color. then again how would wax be on a matte finish?
