Blacked out tail lights!!!
Well I finally did it! and it turned out great!

I used VHT's NITE-SHADES (From O'Reilys)
Just removed tail lights
cleaned with windex
sprayed two coats on the tail lights
and three coats on the reverse lights edges but only two coats on the face of the reverse lights

Well I wanted to but I didn't have any clear or 800 grit or the time and had seen how my buddy's subi turned out so I knew I'd be satisfied with this alone. Still may clear oat and polish it up later though
i wish it were leds but sadly no and i normally wouldnt black em out on a red car but the wheels are soon to be powder coated gun metal gray so its all gonna go together imo
$5.98 a can at your local Home Depot. for under $24 bucks you can have yourself the blackout look.
gotta say i have thought about plasti dip but im aiming for the dark gray color idk though cuz id say if i did it and clear coated with a matte finish and then hit it with rubbing compound and a little wax it would be like a gray color. then again how would wax be on a matte finish?
