Blacking out Tailights

Before i get yelled at for starting this up again....im looking to see everyones preferences over tinting the tailights like with window tint type material or the nightside...whats the pros and cons of each and what has the better overall effect....Thanks guys...i think this will be a good thread just to sum everything up

i did that niteshades, the only thing i dont like is that it is a flat finish and hard to make glossy again even with clear. But you can tint to the darkness you want and can alter with sanding. Easy to remove with paint thinner. my .02

CAsol pretty much summed it up. i too like how you can decide how dark you want the lights to be. i feel like i have more control when i use niteshades, but then again im sure its easier to mess it up

I used Nightshades on my last 'balt, and it works amazingly well. You can make it as dark or as light as you want and you can also do designs on your lights as well. (i.e. put a decal down before you paint, take it off when you're done and VOILA! instant originality) Definitely get a can of clear if you go the Nightshades route since the 'shade isn't glossy. (as CAsol stated)
