does anyone know how hard it is to fit the drifter 2 body kit???!!! i have heard that it basically replaces the old bumpers without trying to mold it... i just called a local body shop and they quoted 1500 for installation and paint?!?!> is it just me or is that extremely overpriced!!!

just some info for you, victory red paint was $112 per pint and i used 2 pints. my friend painted it for me at his auto body school. i did get a quote, it would have been $1200 for instal, paint, and labor to have it professionaly done, plus the $865 i had already spent on buying the body kit/shipping

it was pretty hard on the back bumper, here is a picture of the work i had to do to make the rear fit. I had to cut the rear in half and bolt the half up to the factory and then fiber-bondo over the new body line. the drifter rear was 1/2inch too short from meeting the wheel wells on both sides and stuck 1/4 inch into the trunk near the tail lights on both sides keeping it from closing.
