To get the bottom of the back seat off you have to push hard on it on one side on the top towards the front, while pushing down, you must push back. It has a hook thats latched under it so you must push down and back to unhook it. When you do one side you can do the other easier. Took me awhile to get mine off also, I did it by accident lol. I also had the back of the seats off to, I dont know if its possible to push it back with them on or not.

its off, thanks btw. Im in the process of tearing out my interior from the back seats to the trunk and making a 12 Cubic foot box.

Easy enough to get off now that i found the clips. I figured it had some. Just had to move my big ass 15 inch solo-baric sub around that was on the back seat.

Working on entire fiberglass enclosure from the middle of the trunk out and taking up the entire back seat. Would anyone like to see some pics? If so Ill go get a digital camera...gives me a reason to go buy one.

Doing an entire new stereo system. Finished it will have 4 12 inch subs 6 or 8 mids (have not decided yet) 4 or 6 tweets (depending on the mids) 3 amps and the new panasonic 7 inch in-dash.

Hahaha... I had the same issue on my LS Balt, I can't remember how the hell I got it out, but I remember that it involved kicking, swearing, and urinating in my driveway because I was too pissed off to take it inside. ;0

I found ramming my knee into it was the easiest way to get the stubborn thing out. It is in really tight

Thats gonna be a big box, prepare for alot of rattling! Everything plastic piece in my car vibrates from stock speakers and pioneer cd player. I had a 6 cubic foot box in my old cavalier using .5" mdf, it dropped my back end about an inch and a half easy lowering mod lol

The heaviest but best "wood" to use for a speaker box and 3/4 inch not .5. Thats why i'm going with Fiberglass.

Besides Fiberglass looks sooo much sexier
