bulb stuck in headlight

bulb stuck in headlight

I have an 06 ss sc and I'm trying to replace a blown bulb (got pulled over three times in 2 days). I got the headlight out but the the bulb doesn't unlock, it just spins. What am I doing wrong?

pull dont just twist
pull and twist at the same time she should break free

I've been doing that, ill keep trying. I even used a pair of channels to grab the bulb so I could pull harder as I twisted.

There is a round piece that sits over the bulb and twists to lock into the housing. You have to remove that first to get the bulb out.

Yes. spin this collar. then the bulb assembly comes out
