Can I use this..??
Hey guys,
So, before long, I plan on painting my valve cover, as well as re-doing my calipers.. I'm gonna go wit ha color on the calipers this time, as well as obviously using one on the cover.. I was at the parts store the other day and noticed the engine block spray cans.. I figured that if this stuff can hold up to engine block heat, it should be good for calipers and a valve cover.. This true? Anyone tried it? If I should do this, should I basically sand-blast first, clean, paint, then just allow to thoroughly dry? That basically it? I like the spray form, and the multitude of colors.. I was gonna powder-coat, but this would be far cheaper..
Thanks!
Edit:
This stuff, but not blue..

Cool. Figured so. Saw a guy use it on calipers, so I figured I could on a cover as well. And yes, wasn't sure about the clear.
Conveniently, they have the perfect teal color i'm looking for..
