you mean the bowtie right????? If so, i think we might have a problem there... because i want one aswell in chrome, but have had no luck in finding one, so im thinking of either painting it with chrome paint... or just making it carbonfiber.

As of today 01-20-2006 eBay has 3-4 auctions for the "Chrome Bowtie" They are listed for the other 2005 - 2006 cars with the newer stilll emblem but they will fit. They look awesome! Check here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...30621256QQrdZ1

Also search on ebay "Chevy Emblem Chrome" and you will get pages of options!
Hope this helps!

I would love to make them and sell them, but I don't think I will have enough time to do them in my class. If I could only afford a CNC machine....

On a side note, I love the signature.

if im not mistaken, i think your local chevy dealership can paint the emblem. because at my local chevy dealership, they lift new silverados, and they paint the front bowtie to match the exterior paint color.

My chevy dealership does this aswell, they teamed up with lift kit warehouse here in california.. and they paint all their aftermarket stuff.. but i called and its not worth the 50$ CUSTOM JOB THEY CALL IT. So its easiest to just paint it urself. ive been looking on ebay to see if i can try different ways.

You have black, so the DIY solution is cheaper for you. Arrival Blue can't be bought pre made in a spray can for $3 unfortunatly.

Holy $%^& might as well have the dealer do it for $50. Paint + Plastic primer + Clear coat = $41.85 + S&H.

I doesn't normally turn out that well. You see every bump and imperfection in the plastic. Also if you don't clear coat it soon enough or accidentally touch it with bare skin it discolors.

I bet you could find a close match at the nearest hobby shop. That's where I found the candy red to do mine.
