Cleaning Tinted Windows
Cleaning Tinted Windows
Hey guys, I recently got my rear windows tinted (15% and it looks SWEET!!) and I need to figure out what the best way to clean them is. I know ammonia is a no-no with aftermarket tint so I'm steering clear of that. I went to O'Reilly's and picked up an aerosol can of Inivisible Glass Tint-Safe cleaner, but I know how fast those bottles run dry and at $4 per can I'd like to find something with a bit more longevity. I've seen in the past Windex "Ammonia-Free" but can't seem to find it anymore. I have seen Windex with Vinegar but I didn't want to find out the hard way that it had ammonia in it.
Any help on what you guys use to clean your tinted windows would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

There's this amazing stuff that has been around for billions of years that works well. It's called water.
A wet microfiber towel to wipe with and a dry one to dry with and that should do it. Unless you splodge on your windows from a good time with the girlfriend, you shouldn't need anything more than water to clean them.
