I need to repaint my calipers. So I am stripping off the old paint, putting at least 2 coats of new paint on, and possibly putting on a spray-on clearcoat.

The clearcoat's details: Dupli Color Truck, Van, & SUV clear top coat.
Sandable, Rust Resistant. To be used over Dupli Color touch-up paints.

Let me know if there is anything that I should NOT do when using this product...

I wouldnt put the clear coat over your brake calipers. Get the paint specifically for brakes. Im pretty sure the clear coat wont hold up the the temps that the calipers get up to.

clear coat will vaporize right off the calipers, they are very good conductors of heat..

Get high temp clear coat. I have it on my calipers.

I did mine also. They look good, considering the shitty paint job I did. Just get high heat.
