Cloth seats to power leather

Hey guys, ive been away from the forum for awhile as i rolled my old ss.
but today found a new one near identical to the old one for a killer price so impulse bought it since I missed my old one
Only thing different besides color is that this one has the manual cloth seats as opposed to my other one which had the power heated leather seats.
My question is, Has anyone every tried swapping out manual cloth for power leather seats? or does anyone know if and how it could be done?

go take a picture of the electrical connector under you seat and hopefully someone with power seats will do the same so you can see if you need to add any wiring

I think there is a "how to" that shows how to install heated leather seats but they never had power seats. I didn't know the SS came with cloth seats other than the TC's. Post a picture of the seats you have now.

your all right its been over 6 months and many vehicles driven between.
well this makes it 100 times easier not having them power, the wiring I can figure out easy enough for the heated part of it
thanks for the heads up!!

This isnt my car but these are the same seats that are in it

So ur an ss/na then not a ss/sc, cloth seats only came in ls/lt/na models, you can switch out the seats quite easily but to wire up the heated seats part you would have to go aftermarket if im not mistaken.

well in the next few days maybe ill try pulling the old car around front if i can get it to start again and take out the seats and see how its wired.
I was trying to go by memory and thought they were power leather but clearly my memory isnt as good as I thought.
Ill let ya'll know when I get around to it if i had to go aftermarket or if the old stock heated were able to get wired in

So just an update
i took the leather seats out of the old car which were in fact manual (yes your all so smart)
installing the leathers in will be easy as can be, the wiring for heated will be the hard part
will have to wait and see when i get the new car back what the wiring (if any) under the seat looks like

so installed the leather seats in today, the new car was all prewired for heated!
all i have to do now is plug em in, and grab the switches from the old car and install them in the dash under the headunit and ill have heated seats!
hundred times easier then I was expecting
