I'd love a hatch where the rear glass opens too (tC, Celica, Eclipse...) Add a rear wiper too... I hate the way water just clings to the back window.

Sorry.... not a fan of having more than 2 doors.

Why oh why can't more companies make a 2 door small car?

Ford Focus: 3-door, 4-door, 5-door
Mazda 3: 4-door, 5-door
Dodge Neon: 4-door (and out of production)
Nissan Sentra: 4-door

I hated being stuck with only Chevy, Scion/Toyota, Honda, and Hyundai. Glad I picked the Chevy... but it leaves me wondering sometimes.

Hahah, I feel your pain! I already ripped one of the handles off of my hockey bag trying to get it out of my car.

There is just enough room to get it in the opening. Once inside, there is lots of space.

I can get three sets of clubs in with the seat down and two with the seats up. The only thign limiting the trunk is its opening. The trunk is huge for a small car! Works great for sliding tires in and out

Sounds a lot better! In my cavy, I could only fit my bag in the back, I used to keep them on my back seat. Prolly woulda looked good to someone desperate and with a crowbar.

the problem with the balt isn't so much that it's not a hatch, it's just that the opening is so damn small.

A hatch would be a good solution to the problem.
but don't expect anything untill a complete model makerover to solve that issue

Buy some RainX and apply it to you windows. I've only had to turn on my sipers a few times this year, to clean off bugs. NOt to clear it of rain. Adn thats' because of the RainX.

yea, my hockey bag is a bitch to get in and out, i usually put it in the front seat or the rear seats (coupe)
a fastback hatch style like the TC or the DSM's would be realllly nice
