Cobalt LS bumper on SS Supercharged

Hey, I'm just looking to see if anybody has done this or has input. I'm going to have to run my 05 Cobalt sc through the winter, its lowered 2" front and 2"back roughly, and I dont think my front lip and bumper will survive the Canadian winter. Has anybody put an LS bumper on there SS, if so does it fit. I'm just looking for cheap solution. Thanks

Yes it can be done. You can also drive your car in winter with good tires.

Or find a beater.

All cobalts have the same bumper fitment.

The ss models just gained the lower lip and a slighly different lower opening.

Yes, it will fit.

I have an LT bumper on my '07 for now because I got a good deal on it already painted red and the car got to me with no bumper at all so this is better than nothing for now. It fits just fine, but the chinese replica bumpers are harder to remove/install than an OEM one, the tabs just suck and aren't as positive where they snap in.
